Q) What age groups does Thorold Minor Baseball serve?

A) Thorold Minor Baseball runs programs for ages 4-18. In some special cases players aged 3 or 19 are permitted.


Q) Normally, when does the season start?

A) Our seasons usually begin the week after the May long weekend. Our start date is determined by a number of factors; weather, diamond conditions, timing of the May long weekend, The City of Thorold, Public Health, diamond availability etc.


Q) Does Thorold Minor Baseball accept multiple forms of payment for registration?

A) Yes, Thorold Minor Baseball will accept Visa, Mastercard or AMEX, E-Transfer, Cheque, ProKidz and Jumpstart through our online registration. Credit Card payments are subject to a 2.9% processing fee.


Q) Does Thorold Minor Baseball have a refund policy in the event I need to cancel my registration before or during the season?

A) Yes. With this said, if a refund is requested prior to the start of the season, their will be a 10% administration fee applied to the refund. Once the season has started, all refunds will be considered and decided on by the President/Vice-President of Thorold Minor Baseball, may be pro-rated and will be subject to a 10% administration fee applied to the refund.


Q) Are the Executive/Board members or coaches paid or volunteers?

A) Thorold Minor Baseball is a 100% volunteer run and led organization.


Q) What equipment does my player need and what equipment is provided by the leauge/team?

A) Your player will need a baseball glove, helmet (with proper face shield/gage for their division), baseball pants, protective jock/jill, non-metal baseball cleats (or outdoor running shoes for players 7 and under), a water bottle, and a bag for their equipment. The league will provide your team with a set of team baseball bats that are appropriate size and weight for your division, a uniform, a hat, baseballs, bases, pitching machine (where applicable), catchers equipment and first aid kits with each coach.

The league and teams do not provide extra helmets, water bottles or pants.

Will there be a Select/Rep Program?

Thorold Baseball will be having a Select Program in divisions with strong registration. These teams would hold try-outs and play would be in addition to house-league.
Thorold Baseball will have a 11U Rep team in 2022.
